The site was acquired by Aldgate Developments in December 2010. Thereafter Aldgate Developments completed the £200m speculative development of the building, using contractor Brookfield Multiplex. The project achieved Practical Completion in December 2014, on time and within budget.
The building is now fully leased to a variety of well known multinational tenants at very strong rents (£55psf – rent roll of £17.25m) and a £350m sale to a consortium of Brookfield and China Life was recently completed, providing significant acquisition liquidity to Aldgate Developments (outlined below).
